OK. i will be 16 and have to be paying auto insurance soon obviously. So i was wondering about how much per month i could be expecting to have to pay. I really want a pontiac g5 so i am wondering if it has a high insurance rate or not.
I think my parents insurance company is Allstate… just wondering in general though at how much i could be looking at.

Although I cannot give you a quote, go to progressive.com or geico.com and you can receive a quote online. This will give you an excellent ballpark figure on what you’ll have to pay. You might have a VIN number from the car you are looking at handy in case they ask for one.

Ask your parents to check with their insurance. It will be cheaper for them to add you as an additional driver to their policy than to get a separate one covering only you.
