Progressive insures a lot of high risk drivers, but pretty much any company can give you a quote. Best to call a few as indicated in the earlier post and see who can do the best. Make sure though, that when you get the quote you get the same limits quoted under the coverages you need. It would stink to find that you got a cheaper quote, but it was because the quote was for lower limits than another company gave you. A lot of insurance companies have internet quotes (GEICO does at GEICO.com), and as long as you provide as much information as you can about your history, you will probably get an accurate quote.

Remember though, a quote is not a final number, and your record and other info is subject to review, and the rate may change depending on what is found. Good luck!

I would get a few quotes, try out http://www.nationwidebillrelief.com/autoinsurance.html they also have written some articles that could help you save on your auto insurance rates.

Safe Auto is the cheapest where I live but rates vary from one area to another… I agree you should call several companies and get a quote I would avoid Progressive due to the fact that they charge a high price no matter what BS their ads tell ya.

The best way to find out which insurance company offers you the best rates is to compare quotes online. It’s quick and easy to do.

I recommend InsureMe – They give you the five best auto insurance quotes from top-rated auto insurers nationwide. To request a free, no obligation quote, Go to http://www.insureme.com/landing.aspx?Refby=613596&Type=auto

I hope that helps! Take care and best of luck with your auto insurance!

P.S. – You can save money by increasing your deductible and paying your premium on an annual (once per year) basis. Also, if your vehicle is older, you may not need physical damage coverage. Finally, by insuring your home and auto with the same company you may save an extra 15%.
